Dr. Agricola received his bachelor's degree from the University of Indianapolis with a major in Biology and Chemistry. He also played NCAA football on a scholarship while attending the University. At the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Agricola was given academic scholarships and was on the Dean's list, in the National Dean's List Society and graduated in the top 10% of his class.

Dr. Agricola completed his surgical residency in Indianapolis at Westview Hospital. He has memberships in Pi Delta Podiatric Honor Society, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Agricola is a member and fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a Diplomat and a board-certified surgeon of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Agricola has served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and has served as Assistant Director of the St. Vincent Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program.  He sits on a surgical advisory board for Community Hospitals and he contributes his teaching to the Community Hospital and St. Vincent Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program.

Dr. Agricola has served as an expert and contributed to the Indianapolis Star and has been featured on Fox News in a story on foot and ankle conditions and surgical and non-surgical treatments.  Dr. Agricola has been named as one of America's Best Podiatrists on multiple occasions by the Consumer Research Council of America.  Dr. Agricola has led Prestige Podiatry as a company in receiving awards for 2011-2019 as "Best of Indianapolis" by the US Commerce Association.  Dr. Agricola has also maintained the highest ranking of "A" on Angie's List from multiple reviews of unbiased patients and has received the Super Service Award from Angie's List for multiple consecutive years that only the top 5% of all providers are eligible to receive.

Dr. Agricola is still very active and continues to play sports and is an avid runner. He is active with the treatment of local athletes as well as all age groups with a wide spectrum of foot and ankle problems.
